Ottawa, Canada OHRI Full time

With continued improvements in HIV therapy, the role of the Immunodeficiency Clinic at The Ottawa Hospital has shifted from managing acute HIV-related illnesses and antiretroviral drug toxicities to chronic disease management. Like other chronic diseases, HIV infection leads to lifetime changes in physical health as well as psychosocial function. Similarly, HIV prevention has changed markedly in recent years with the introduction of PEP, PrEP and treatment as prevention. This evolving landscape has led to new approaches to healthy sexuality.
