Job Description
The Liver and Pancreas Unit is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Assistant III to join the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) research team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, and will be immediately involved with research activities related to peri-operative medicine, transfusion medicine, and HPB surgery. Day-to-day activities will involve recruitment of participants for ongoing clinical trials, data collection and data entry, as well as other study-related tasks. The successful candidate will also help prepare manuscripts, grant applications, and research ethics board submissions.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
•Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences related field or equivalent
•Experience with clinical research
•Effective communication skills (oral and written)
•Strong computer and data entry skills, including experience with electronic data capture systems.
•Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonization – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
•Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
•Previous experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC), is considered an asset.

Contract Details:
This is a one-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.
Salary: $29.964/hr. – Max: $40.647/hr.
