**What we are looking for**

Office Operation Manager who will lead our office team in office operation and debate tounamnet management. We are looking for someone who is positive, reliable, CAN SPEAK MANDARIN, and whose schedule is flexible, who can work afternoons/evenings, and sometimes weekends 40 hours per week over 5 days in our Vancouver office.

**Office Operation Manager responsibilities will be, but are not necessarily limited to**:

- 1. Class scheduling_
- 2. Tournament planning, operation and coordination with Director of Debate_
- 3. Tabroom management, students registration, judge management, deadline management, fee management, NADS points management, etc._
- 4. Invites students as needed to try outs for higher level classes as requested by Director_
- 5. HCOS management, in coordination with Director if needed_
- 6. Training/monitor office assistants to work effectively and professionally_
- 7. Assign/manage work and responsibilities with office assistants as follows: _
- Writes up the agenda
- University Consultation services
- Share the responsibility with different departments in running weekly management meetings
- Leads the meeting
- Assists in marketing of classes/coaches
- Ensures bios are correct & up-to-date on the websites, binders, wall bios
- Works to get students in classes so coaches get the classes/hours they want
- Create and post content ideas weekly
- Coordination with coaches/instructors
- Handles coordination between staff and parents/students in regards to attendance, registration, payment, absences/makeups
- Coaches/Instructors class summaries/report cards/level recommendations reminder/follow up as well as subform
- Coordinates issues between coaches and staff and parents/students such as level placement, complaints
- Assists coaches in finding subs as needed
- Registration/Amilia
- Bookkeeping/Recording
- Wechat marketing by sharing in moment, and different group
- Term students management and ensures coaches are informed of missed, makeup, trial classes relevant to them

Qualifications:

- FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND MANDARIN
- Skilled with MS Office, Google Docs; comfortable learning new computer programs
- Strong communication and people skills
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Flexible in schedule
- A little bit coding knowledge would be add on value

Compensation:

- 3 months trial period at $3800/month for 40 hours/week, 5 days per week
- $48,000 annually after 3 months (with group benefits) with opportunity to grow every year according to the performance
- 2-weeks paid vacation after 1 year
- Communal bonus based on registration growth 3 times per year
