We are looking for an amazing team member to join our wonderful team as a Business Development Associate at our Toronto Office.
As a Business Development Associate, you will be reporting to the Director of Business Development to drive lead generation and new customer partnerships across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. You will assist with the development of new clients and partnerships, and strengthen existing relations in both parking management and valet services.
**What you will be doing**:
- Participate in the elaboration of sales strategies, plans and marketing tools
- Develop the sales programs to further develop the market position by defining and building business relationships
- Being up to date with industry trends, new technologies, other industry standards, and identity strategies to maintain a competitive edge
- Communicate information to the leadership team regarding competitive landscape & analysis, market trends, customer trends, service gaps and areas for improvement
- Participate in Request for Proposals for parking management services
- Communicate any pertinent information on sales methods, techniques, and tools
- Attend and be responsible for preparation for relevant trade shows and exhibitions
- Collaborate with the marketing team on local level campaigns
- Perform administrative duties including but not limited to maintenance of the CRM database, filing, generating reports, and maintaining business templates
- Other duties as assigned

**What you bring to the table**:
- 2 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the parking industry is considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in business or marketing is considered an asset
- Consultative selling with a focus on long-term relationship building
- Strong lead generation, cold-calling, and negotiation skills
- Experience in regional sales management is considered an asset
- Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with stakeholders
- Must have own vehicle to travel within the region
- Ability to manage and maintain confidential information
- Professional with high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
