**What do you offer?**

The Quality Control Specialist will work as part of the team that provides employment services to Ontarians with a focus on immigrants and newcomers to Canada. They are responsible for monitoring the results of all the Employment and Community Services, assists with strategic planning, and implements a network for sharing valuable information and best practices.

**Some of the tasks of this position include**:

- Overseeing data management systems to ensure contract compliance and data integrity.
- Providing coaching and support to management teams in may areas, including; ethical conduct, program development, quality assurance, staff training and development, file management, and customer service.
- Ensuring monthly and quarterly data entry targets are met, and ensuring ministry database/confidentiality requirements are met.
- Connecting with staff regularly to ensure integrity and procedures are followed.
- Monitoring information submitted in client files to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Preparing all statistical and required reports and appropriate file documentation as requested by management.
- Ensuring ministry documentation is understood and signed by all parties involved.
- Determining appropriate referrals have been made to assisted services through the EOES framework, and reporting discrepancies to management.

**Education**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field

**Language**
- Fluent in English and French, oral and written is an asset

**Experience, Skills and Abilities**
- Related experience might include: Administration, Data Entry, Teaching and Training Adults Certification, Diploma or Developmental Services Worker Diploma
- Experience in administration, information and referral services, needs assessments and employment services
- Experience with diverse individuals and employers in an employment context
- Advanced computers skills; use of databases, Microsoft Suite
- Advanced organization skills, with the ability to work in collaboration with multiple team members at one time

**Additional Requirements**:

- Applicants must already have a valid permit to work in Canada.
- Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector, not more than 6 months old is required.
- Annually, staff must complete the mandatory training for the protection of Children & Youth and submit the certificate of completion.
