**About Working on a “Floatel”**

LandSea will be providing workforce catering and accommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger “Floatel”. The Floatel will be permanently docked in Squamish, B.C., and is estimated to operate for up to three years.
- Our client Bridgemans is a global provider of workforce floatels and marine services. Their vessel, the MV Isabelle, will be arriving in Canada in early 2024._

All crew members onboard the MV Isabelle must have the minimum marine safety (Seafarers) certifications required by Transport Canada for the specific job.

Staff are provided with accommodation, full meals, and WIFI, and some have health/gym facilities. We have both long-term and short-term contacts. We provide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to and from camp locations. Excellent Health and Wellness benefits are offered after three months.

**About the Opportunity**

We have an opening for an **Inventory Supervisor**.

The Inventory Supervisor oversees and supervises all aspects relating to the Inventory Department, stores, replenishment, and support staff, ensuring efficient operations and results.

The Inventory Supervisor reports to the Hospitality Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**

Prepare all order requests for store items; follow up on orders to make sure they are prepared in time and submitted to the Purchasing Department correctly and promptly; crosscheck daily department requisitions to ensure all data is correctly entered into the inventory system.

Coordinate the physical receipt and handling of goods on loading days by arranging adequate staff to support the Provisions Department and ensuring that products are distributed and stored correctly and promptly.

Oversee all equipment receiving procedures.

Crosscheck invoices and actual deliveries, in coordination with respective Department Heads, to ensure that the correct items are delivered.

Review all equipment being used in the Vessel Stores and report non-functioning equipment to the Head Office of the Hospitality Manager

Implement and follow up on correct Stock Rotation Procedures and ensure that first-in-first-out (FIFO) regulations are in place.

Review onboard stock levels of Food and Beverage (F&B) and vessel supplies to ensure that minimum stock levels are kept onboard.

Work closely with Department Heads to ensure that all products required for operation are always onboard and that products are being used accordingly.

Assist all Department Heads with preparing future orders, if necessary, and provide regular updates on budgets, future orders, stock holdings, etc.

Provide a short financial overview and forecast to the Vessel Hospitality Manager when orders are being sent for approval.

Inform the Vessel Hospitality Manager and relevant Department Heads of slow and non-moving items in the Vessel Stores and make suggestions for using these items.

Guide the Vessel Store team as needed by LandSea standards and operational needs.

Positively contribute to achieving/succeeding Inventory KPI goals (quality and financial) for the Inventory Department

Have full knowledge of health, safety and security, fire prevention, and evacuation policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications**

A required minimum of 2-3 years completed as an Inventory Supervisor/Manager, Stores Supervisor, or Provision Supervisor

Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, accommodation services, consumables, uniforms, chemicals, and equipment are required.

Must have experience in storeroom operation including successful identification of expense reduction through cost control, waste management, and spoilage/breakage control.

Fluent in English - must be able to address any kind of information adequately with excellent oral, written, and computer communication skills.

Must have experience in material management systems.

Strong administration skills and must be proficient in PC-based databases, spreadsheets, and word processing systems.

Flexible, stress-resistant, committed team player.

Guest-focused, service-orientated, positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards are required, with excellent knowledge of Public Health Policies

**Physical Requirements (must be physically fit to perform the following)**

Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.

Repeat the same movements including fast, repetitive movements of fingers, hands, and wrists.
