Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) is now accepting resumes for multiple equipment operators with large earthworks and Civil earthwork construction projects experience. TNDC is looking for those who are committed to a positive and safe work environment, practice safe work procedures and arrive for work on-time and ready for work Successful applicants will be required to work and stay in a remote camp setting during their entire shift on a 2 week on/2 week off rotation, working 12-hour shifts. With work being primarily in an outdoor setting in various types of weather.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
- Attend toolbox, safety, and other meetings or discussions as required.
- Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently and be open to run multiple pieces of equipment during your rotation if required.
- Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment being operated.
- Participate in assigned training.
- Assist in general labour and other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience operating Excavator, Dozers, Loaders, and Rock Trucks in a mining, and/or industrial setting.
- Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life.
- Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness.
- Experience with radio communications and protocols.
- Able to take direction, follow instructions, adapt to changing priorities and multitask.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and able to use diagnostics.
- A team player who works respectfully and cooperatively with others.
