Global I&t PMO Director

We are looking for a Director of the Global Information and Technology (IT) program and Project Management Office (PMO) to be a strategic partner to our IT executives as well as their counterparts within BRP business areas.
You will have the opportunity to lead a team of diversified managers and professionals whose mission is to optimize the project portfolios, funds and capacity of the IT teams. The PMO Director will also lead efforts to standardize methods, processes and tools along with the team in place, and be a key stakeholder in managing project risks across the portfolio.
With this newly created role, you will have a direct impact on the vice presidency of Portfolio Governance and Architecture and enable BRP to accelerate its technological transformation.
**YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Set up a long-term vision for the global IT PMO.
Manage the allocation of IT project funding, and support cost-benefit analysis of projects and ideas, in collaboration with the finance team.
Lead strategic Portfolio Management that enables enterprise-wide strategy-to-execution alignment, prioritization, communication and governance.
Oversee and lead the change management team to ensure successful deployment of projects and programs.
Influence prioritization of programs through active collaboration with IT Business Partners and business representatives.
Improve project management performance and practices across BRP.
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Strong experience with Agile Methodologies applied to PMO processes.
Previous experience leading a PMO team in a technological environment.
Knowledge of PPM (Portfolio Project Management) tools as well as experience selecting and deploying one or several tools to manage the project portfolio and enterprise capacity.
Good mastery of PMO processes and a LEAN mindset.
A bachelor’s degree in the fields of Information Systems, Administration or Engineering.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage ambiguity as well as rapid shifts in priorities.
Solution oriented.
Experience in managing a decentralized team in a hybrid work environment.
The ability to work and collaborate in a complex environment and effectively influence a diverse team of stakeholders and business leaders.
Budget management and experience in business case development.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Oral/writing skills in both French and English as the position involves a portfolio of projects managed across the globe.
An influencer who is able to gain stakeholder buy-in for proposed changes.
