Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant (Personal Injury Law). As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our legal department.
**Responsibilities**:
- Document preparation and case management
- Conduct interviews with clients, notify clients of upcoming appointments
- Prepare and SABS documents, manage faxes, prepare and send correspondence related to all insurer inquiries (ie. medical requests, SABS forms, etc.)
- Organize and maintain legal files and databases
- Schedule appointments, meetings
- Manage calendars and deadlines for multiple cases
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role is mandatory (Personal Injury)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
