**RETAIL AND HOSPITALITY MANAGER**

**Job Overview**

As the Retail and Hospitality Manager, you are the chief brand ambassador and "Chief Happiness Officer" at Forno Cultura, fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging hospitality environment. Your primary role is to ensure that both the customer experience and the operational efficiency of the retail and front of house (FOH) departments are aligned with Forno Cultura’s values of high-quality service and artisanal excellence. You will guide, mentor, and manage a team of passionate individuals, while ensuring that the service provided is of five-star hospitality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operations Management**:_
- Manage Forno Cultura’s retail and FOH operations, maintaining high standards in service, sales, and brand integrity.
- Handle product ordering, par levels, and reconciliation of orders.
- Achieve sales targets while managing labour costs and operational efficiency.
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring certifications are up-to-date.
- **Front of House (FOH) Service & Hospitality**:_
- Lead by example to instill a five-star hospitality mindset in all FOH staff.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to meet and exceed hospitality benchmarks.
- Ensure customer engagement, fostering lasting relationships with guests.
- Oversee scheduling and daily service planning, being the senior floor manager during key hours.
- Communicate Forno Cultura’s story and mission, aligning the team with the company’s vision for quality food and hospitality.
- **Retail Management**:_
- Analyze sales data and implement retail management strategies on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Monitor and maintain par levels, with a focus on holiday and seasonal sales.
- Manage product displays and visual merchandising to uphold brand standards.
- Oversee waste management and inventory control with a focus on minimizing waste and accurate reporting.
- Regularly inspect the retail environment to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- **Team Leadership & HR Responsibilities**_
- Lead training efforts, instilling product knowledge, customer service techniques, and hospitality standards across the team.
- Maintain accurate staff records and schedule labour based on sales projections.
- Actively coach staff, providing feedback for both skill development and leadership growth.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and biweekly management meetings to foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.
- **Administrative & Payroll Management**_
- Manage payroll operations, including hours reconciliation, salary changes, and tracking holidays/statutory days.
- Oversee supplier relations, maintaining organized records of orders and payments.
- Ensure the Point of Sale (POS) system is up-to-date with correct prices and product listings, especially during seasonal changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in hospitality and/or retail management.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for building and mentoring teams.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and payroll administration.
- Passion for artisanal food and commitment to high quality service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
