**PURPOSE AND SCOPE**:
Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisors, or designates, the Student Operations Assistant assists department staff with inspection work in relation to transportation operations, and any other municipal work as required; uses GPS for inspection; technical work as required; office work as required, including scanning of documents, filing data input, and other work as assigned.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Completed High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a program of study in engineering technology at a community college/university and returning in the fall of 2024.
- Possess a valid “G” driver’s license and provide a clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AutoCAD.
**RECRUITMENT PROCESS**:
**Stage 2 - Offer letter and Onboarding Paperwork**: Offers will go out before the end of March 2025 an onboarding paperwork date will be included in your offer letter for documents to be returned.
**Stage 3 - Start Date**:This anticipated commencement of this position is approximately May 2025 until end of August 2025.
