Côté Gold is being developed in partnership with the Mattagami First Nation, Flying Post First Nation and Métis Nation of Ontario, Region 3.

The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

**Accessing Opportunities at Côté Gold**

**SUPERVISOR, SERVICES**

Lead and coordinate site services resources for Côté Gold. Lead the team to deliver safe, responsible and effective site services including service work, waste management, facilities maintenance, road maintenance, renovations, new construction and more. Support, coach, train and create space for the site services personnel to be successful.

**Key Responsibilities**

Area 1:
Leading and coordinating Site Services resources.
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
- Supervise Site Services personnel and contractors (labourers, equipment operators, janitorial staff, tradespeople, etc.) to prepare and maintain site services in support of the operations.
- Understand planning and maintenance activities and collaborate closely with other departments in preparing and coordinating site services activities.
- Visible and caring leadership
- Lead and empower employees and contractors in achieving world class site services and improve work performance and efficiency through mentorship and feedback.
- Create space for the team to be effective in delivering results.
- Foster an inclusive work environment.
- Provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required to achieve business plans and site services targets.
- Ensure that training is provided in accordance with the current and future needs of Côté Gold.
- Ensure the required resources (people and equipment) are in place to achieve targets.
- Promote a high performance culture by setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Offer new approaches, methods or policies to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
- Administer and comply with system requirements in a manner consistent with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Perform worksite inspections and safe work observations; participate in and lead investigations.

Area 2:
Operational excellence.
- Seek opportunities to improve site services.
- Establish and maintain site services standards, procedures, systems and process that support operational reliability.
- Be proactive and solution driven and implement operational improvements.
- Commit to continuous learning and improvement.
- Continually seek to improve your skills as a Supervisor, Site Services.
- Watch for inefficiencies or problems.
- Ensure problems and inefficiencies are shared with others.
- Work collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Consider risk along the five dimensions (compliance, time, quality, sustainability and cost).

Area 3:
Work collaboratively with others to deliver operational reliability.
- Provides leadership and direction to the various contractors, trades personnel, equipment operators and stakeholders to ensure that the business and mine plan objectives are met.
- Coordinate with other team members on site to meet shift deliverables.
- Mentor and train new team members.
- Participate in and lend your expertise to the team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively using the tools provided.
- Ensure equipment logs and shift logs are accurate and complete.
- Ensure any deficiencies are communicated to the appropriate team members for follow up.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on our commitment to our team, our communities, the environment, and our shareholders.

Qualifications

**Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves**

minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Ministry Supervisor Training is considered an asset.

Work experience - Nature & Length
- 5 or more years of site services experience.
- 3 or more years of leadership experience.

Additional qualifications - Competency requirements
- Demonstrated ability to engage and empower multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal, written and non-verbal.
- Computer proficiency.
- Understand efficiency drivers in site services.
