Greater Toronto Area, Canada Prestressed Systems Incorporated Full time

Contact customer for introduction and co-ordinate schedule dates and scope.
- Follow procedures and policies in place to ensure the flow of documents.
- Co-ordinate and schedule all in-house initial meetings to facilitate the hand off from Sales to the PM department.
- Co-ordinate any required progress meetings as the project moves through the various stages of development (ie. shop drawing review, pre-installation meetings etc.).
- Follow up on shop drawings with the client to ensure all required information is obtained and drawings are returned in a timely fashion.
- Co-ordinate with the production and shipping departments to ensure product is ready on delivery date.
- Obtain quotes from various subcontractors if they were not acquired during the bidding stage (i.e. stairs and landings, floor underlayment firms etc.), negotiate the lowest price possible, and issue a purchase order.
- Co-ordinate check of as-built dimensions by a surveyor, and issue a purchase order if required for the project as determined during the initial kick off meeting.
- Resolve all extras / back charges in a timely manner.
- Attend site meetings as required.
- Perform site inspections and issue reports.
- Maintain PSI’s Inform project management system at all times.
- Verify long-term structural schedule monthly.
- Approve invoices as required.
- Review field time sheets and assess if back charge to customer, trucking, or crane required. If required discuss with the appropriate in house department manager.
- Report any unsafe situations at site.
- Keep project files up to date at all times.
- Distribute minutes of meetings after every meeting in a timely manner.
- Encourage all staff to perform duties in accordance with the Company health and safety policies and mission statement.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
