Motor City Controls is a company started 8 years ago and specializes in Mechanical&Electrical installations of automated conveyor, sorting systems and robotic systems for all types of material handling systems. We provide a turn key solution to all types of material handling systems.
Motor City Controls is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from initiation to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.

- Plan, execute, and monitor projects according to defined timelines and budgets
- Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders
- Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members
- Supervise and provide guidance to project team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to drive project success

- Past experience in the trades and construction industry.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Experience with requirements management and product management processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation is a plus

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 5 years (required)

- English (required)
