CanSleep is seeking a _**Patient Care Representative (Medical Office Assistant) **_to join their team in Victoria, BC. This role involves working at two clinic locations: two days in Oak Bay and three days in Eagle Creek.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Patient scheduling
- Assist patients with the appointment process and required documents
- Ensure all patient documents are completed accurately
- Insurance Processing
- Ensure claims/pre-approvals are completed and submitted
- Liaise with insurance companies as needed
- Educating and providing patients with Home Sleep Apnea Testing devices within Provincial Accreditation Guidelines
- Tracking and monitoring patient data
- Patient education

**REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position (ie. medical office, customer service, administration)
- Superior communication skills and command of the English language (additional languages considered an asset)
- Proficient with computers and software including Google and Microsoft platforms
- Able and willing to learn new software and technologies
- Able to multitask
- Able to work independently or as a team with mínimal supervision

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Work hours are between 9AM and 5PM, Monday to Friday (half hour unpaid lunch)

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
