**Digital Merchandising Manager **you will work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure that we are presenting our products in the most compelling way to our customers while continually improving our onsite shopping experience.

**Why We Need You**:
As the Manager of Digital Merchandising, you will be an integral part of Article’s e-Commerce team. You will lead a team of Digital Merchandise Specialists and Coordinators all while playing a key role in shaping our digital merchandising strategy in alignment with Article’s brand strategy.

In this role the ability to cultivate team growth is crucial. You will identify opportunities for team development and foster an environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth. Support the current team members in honing their skills and expertise and ensure they are well equipped to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the company's objectives.

**About Our Team**

This role is Hybrid and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week minimum.

**What You'll Do**:

- Ensure best-in-class online merchandising to optimize the website for assortment, sales, and customer experience.
- Ensure that merchandise plans support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends.
- Utilize analytics to monitor traffic, customer behavior, sales trends, and feedback to gain customer insights.
- Develop and manage the execution of site merchandising to achieve online marketing and sales goals.
- Manage onsite search and merchandising, improving relevancy and results.
- Collaborate on the development of open-to-buy inventory (OTB) and purchasing plans and budgets.
- Recommend site and usability enhancements.
- Responsible for fostering cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization, including Tech, UX, Creative, and Marketing, to align digital merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
- Establish clear goals and expectations, define or improve clarity on roles and responsibilities, and ensure open cross-functional communication to drive the successful delivery of KPIs.
- Work in Talent Acquisitions to interview, hire, and train new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

**Who You Are**:

- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- 10+ years of experience in digital merchandising, preferably in the consumer retail industry.
- Must have experience with at least one content management system, ideally working knowledge of Contentful.
- Must have experience with analytics tools like GA4, Heap, and Contentsquare.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with G-suite / Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of online merchandising strategies, analytics, and customer behavior.
- Proven track record of achieving goals and cultivating a high-performance team culture.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Completion of a criminal background check.

**Preferred experience**
- Familiarity with technical aspects such as SEO/SEM, responsive design, and usability to enhance the user experience.
- Google Analytics Certification
