Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Lead is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for various projects and business units. They are responsible for leading or supervising a team of Buyers and Order Administrators in day to day procurement activities.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Lead Procurement Activities for a Project.
- Review purchasing documents.
- Supervise and Mentor Buyers/Order Administrators.
- Interface with Project Management.
- Lead Supplier negotiations and Kick-off Meetings for procurement.
- Create and Issue Procurement packages.
- Interface with the Client for Review and Approval of Procurement packages.
- Ensure procurement data integrity and project status updates at all times.
- Oversee completion of non-conformances.
- Periodic supplier/ shop oversight visits.
- Resolve supply chain issues as they arise.

**What will you contribute?**
- Minimum 10 years experience in Buying/Expediting complex Procurement packages or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Manufacturing, experience at supplier facilities.
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
- Experience in supplier negotiations.
- Experience in Quality program standards and processes related to supply chain (All levels).
- Understanding of the financial system, invoicing/milestone payments, Levels of Authority, Ethics/Compliance/Integrity Controls, HSE Requirements/ Complex Service contracts including Construction contracts and union trades.
- Post-Secondary Education preferred.SCMP certification or enrolment in SCMP programs is desirable.
- Knowledge of Contract Law and competitive bidding best practices.
- Required to Mentor Junior Buyers and Procurement Administrators.
- Lead and supervise Procurement activities for Projects and Business Units.
- May be required to travel or work at Project sites.
