**OVERVIEW**:
As the Manager of the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance (BAQA) Practice, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and delivering excellence. Reporting to the Director of BAQA, your role encompasses overseeing both BAQA Practices, leading a dynamic team of specialists. You'll have the exciting opportunity to shape and elevate our business analysis and quality assurance practices by establishing cutting-edge standards, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional practice related services.

Your focus on optimizing processes, mitigating risks, and maintaining compliance with industry benchmarks will ensure we continuously raise the bar. Through your leadership, stakeholder engagement, and relentless pursuit of improvement, you'll empower our BA and QA teams to deliver impactful business analysis and quality assurance, setting new standards of quality across projects and operations.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Promote and inspire a healthy culture of support, adaptability, and compassion across our workplace.
- Managing a team of BA and QA Practice leads and project contractors
- Stay current with trends and the evolution of both business analysis and quality assurance knowledge areas.
- Responsible for strategic and operational plans to drive continuous improvement of the BA and QA practice.
- Responsible to recruit and mentor team members with the goal of building and retaining innovative, engaged, and high performing teams.
- Provide oversight, career development, and supervisory functions for all direct reports.
- Create and maintain a positive working environment in alignment with our organization’s culture and values.
- Lead operational and corporate projects in alignment with our corporate project management methodology.
- Ensure successful delivery of quality solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Build and manage effective customer and vendor relationships by understanding related business strategy, operational goals and managing expectations.
- Communicate effectively with various levels of management and provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders at all levels.

**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:

- Relevant IT or business degree, with designations in either BA or QA knowledge areas being an advantage.
- 7+ years of direct leadership experience managing a cross functional team. Experience managing or involvement in Practices or Center of Excellence (COE) an advantage.
- 10+ years experience as Business
- or Quality Assurance Analyst
- Deep understanding of RUP and Agile Scrum delivery frameworks. Experience as Enterprise Agile Coach an advantage.
- Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Expertise: As the practice manager, you should possess a strong background in business analysis and quality assurance methodologies, techniques, and best practices. This includes a solid understanding of requirements gathering, process modeling, data analysis, test execution, test case management and solution evaluation. Your expertise will enable you to guide and mentor your team effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills are essential for managing the BAQA Practice. You will be interacting with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, directors, managers, project managers, and team members. Strong written and verbal communication skills will allow you to effectively convey complex concepts, facilitate discussions, and build relationships.
- Change Management: Leading the BAQA practice often involves implementing changes within the organization. You should have a good understanding of change management principles and be skilled at managing resistance to change. The ability to navigate through organizational dynamics and effectively communicate the benefits of BAQA Practice initiatives and delivery frameworks will be important.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects, enterprise-level service delivery and operational initiatives.
- Demonstrated strengths in negotiation, budgeting, planning, organizing, and delegating. Adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude are also valuable traits for a successful manager of the BAQA Practice.
