As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and the administration of employee benefits programs within the organization. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll and benefits regulations and practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for timesheet review and audit functions in a high volume, complex payroll environment using Dayforce HCM
- Provide ongoing support to team members and managers on time entry, self-service updates and approvals using Dayforce
- Ensuring compliance with provincial Employment Standards and Collective Agreements
- Assist with month end reconciliation, internal and external reporting related to payroll
- Assist with administration of group benefits programs
- Liaise with benefit carriers and respond to internal and external inquiries
- Assist with year end reconciliation, reporting and dealing with internal and external inquiries
- Promote and administer various HR programs and initiatives

**Skills, Abilities and Experience**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Payroll, Accounting, Human Resources or relevant experience
- Ceridian Dayforce HCM knowledge is a strong asset
- Working knowledge of Canadian labour and payroll legislation
- Ability to maintain accuracy and be detail-focused in a fast paced environment with critical deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
