**Organizational Profile**

Community Living Mississauga is a non-profit organization, which provides support to people who have an intellectual disability so that their quality of life in the community is meaningfully improved.

**Description of Program**

The Children’s Summer Support Program offers support to children 4-12 years of age who have an intellectual disability while they participate in a day camp program, facilitating their inclusion into the setting. Children attend programs throughout Mississauga operated by the City of Mississauga’s Recreation & Parks Division and other day camps in Mississauga.

**Key Responsibilities**

Inclusion Facilitators provide direct support on an individual basis to children in a day camp setting. Inclusion Facilitators also have some record-keeping responsibilities, must attend weekly team meetings and promote the inclusion of children into day camp programs. Inclusion Facilitators must be comfortable providing personal care support, participating in all activities with the children including swimming, and be physically fit to perform the essential duties of the job including performing lifts and transfers as necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Developmental Services Worker Diploma or enrolled and actively pursuing this diploma
- Have experience working or volunteering with people who have an intellectual disability

**Equivalency**
- Social Services Worker Diploma, Child and Youth Worker Diploma, or a university degree in a related discipline
- Have experience working or volunteering with people who have an intellectual disability

**Asset**
- Fluent in French
- Aptitude to learn quickly and independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude along with excellent teamwork
