**About us**

Super Scientist Inc. provide STEM education for elementary students using hands-on immersive experiments and projects.

We work with customers through camps, classes, after school clubs, school science projects and engineering challenges and school in-class STEM courses. Our accessible costing structure makes high quality STEM education available to all socio-demographics tapping into under-represented pools of talent.

Through our fun, interactive experiments and builds we keep students engaged and enthusiastic about STEM activities with a hope of future employment opportunities, helping to rebalance the currently shrinking number of STEM professionals lost through retirement and attrition.

Most importantly we are teaching our students the essential life-skills of problem solving, critical thinking, perseverance and conflict resolution that will empower them to reach their full potential into higher education and beyond AND having a whole lot of fun as we do it

We are looking for passionate, driven, knowledgeable, caring people to partner with us in teaching key life-skills like problem solving and critical thinking. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable tutors to assist us with our In-school, After-school and Summer programs.

**Camp Co-ordinator**
- Police safety check

Arrival and dismissal routine (provided)

**Responsibilities**:

- Back-office organisation of camp requirements, such as completed waivers and all medical details and attendee reports for each week.

Creation of marketing materials for adverts.

Through-day contact point for parents.

Upload and control of in-class photo-blog.

Stock order, purchase and control, ensuring equipment is operational and available for each class.

Safe Arrival and dismissal of students.

Independent supervision of group of students only if needed or short-staffed

Assist in classes when needed or short-staffed

Responsible for implementation of safe practice and stop of unsafe for both staff and students.

Recommending improvements and updates to existing practice and lessons

Creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for students

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
