Blackpaws Motto: Less Dogs; More Space We feel the best experience a dog can have while away from their loved ones is being in a spacious, fun filled and quieter environment. That is why we only house 40 dogs at any given time. That is why our play groups are smaller (4-8 dogs) and we have extra large, fully enclosed playfields for them to run full stride; even the littles We are staffed from 7:30 am until 9:30-10:00 PM, giving all dogs opportunity to continue playing after dinner and having fun and using outside for bathroom breaks. The way it should be One of the few boarding facilities that do this and is, what sets us apart from everyone else.
**Qualifications: over 18 yrs of age; Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle mandatory**
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential for this role
- Must be available days, evenings, weekends and Holidays; including Christmas
- Ability to work independently and show problem solving skills is a must
- Experience with dog socialization of all breeds and sizes. Confidence while handling animals is crucial.
- Proven Reliability, punctuality and low absenteeism
- Excellent cleaning and sanitation skills are a must. There are no short cuts and sanitation is of the utmost importance.
- Physical requirements are required when working at Blackpaws. Ability to shovel runs, lift a minimum of 50 pound and be able to handle 100+ pound dogs
- Observation skills
- the ability to notice changes in animal behavior and pay attention to new animals who may need extra time and attention to adapt to their new surroundings.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
