- **About Our Opportunity**_

Under the direction of the Applications Supervisor, the Applications Clerk provides support to the supervisor and staff of the department as well as services to callers and visitors to the Metropolitan District.

**Primary Accountabilities**
- Respond to or redirect all general incoming calls to the Applications Department.
- Keep accurate records of phone calls, mail, confirmations, etc., for files as received.
- Maintain a registry of Priority Access files.
- Produce tenant-related letters.
- Provide backup for Switchboard/Receptionist duties as required.
- Other assigned duties.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Business Administration or Secretarial diploma program, plus two years’ related experience.
- Computer skills and competency in desktop software including Microsoft Office with strong keyboarding skills.
- Excellent knowledge of office procedures and practices are required to maintain accurate and secure files, track, and follow-up information/report requests.

**Assets**
- Working knowledge of Yardi Property Management software.
- Multilingual; fluent in English and Arabic.
- **Competencies**_ _required at this level of work are Compliance Knowledge, Problem-solving Skills, _Organizational and Time-management skills, Client Orientation, and Communication.

**Equivalency**

An equivalent combination of training, education and experience may be considered.
