Position: Social and Digital Media Advisor

Southbridge Care Homes owns and operates 26 Long-Term Care Homes and 9 Retirement Homes throughout many urban and rural areas of Ontario. Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a Social and Digital Media Advisor to deliver support and expertise to our portfolio of LTC and Retirement homes. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the individual will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and passion for senior care by delivering high-quality support to our homes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and newsletters.
- Create compelling messaging that supports our mission and values.
- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content, including text posts, videos, and images, tailored to each platform's specific audience and requirements.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages, engaging with our audience to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community.
- Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts, track performance, and analyze metrics to optimize content strategy and drive results.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop visually appealing and on-brand multimedia content that resonates with our target audience.
- Assist with brand marketing development and promotion.
- Lead the development of external videos with vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, integrating new ideas and features into our social media strategy.
- Track and report on key social media metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvement to the management team.
- Create regular summaries of social activities to share with the overall business.
- Explore cross-promotional opportunities with other organizations that share a similar target audience.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic posting schedule across all platforms. This includes content themes, coordinating with other marketing initiatives, and optimizing posting times.

**Experience**:

- Passion for social media and influencer culture, with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest industry trends and developments.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual aesthetics and the ability to create engaging multimedia content.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and Communication skills
- Excellent Writing skills and ability to write creative and engaging social media content.
- Ability to develop and execute content strategies.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of graphic design and basic video editing is a plus.
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
