_Financial Controller_

Privately-owned, growth-oriented, corporate group operating primarily in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive sectors seeks a high energy designated accountant to be the group’s Financial Controller.

Unique Tool & Gauge Inc. was established in 1982. Over the years we have become the leaders in quality for the mold making industry. Our facility is equipped with some of the most productive and efficient machines available today.

Gauge-Rite Inc. specializes in the design and build of high quality precision checking fixtures. Ranging from basic attribute check fixtures, to S.P.C. and many other variations as directed by you the customer.
- Establishing and managing a Shared Services Center consisting of finance and accounting, Information Technology and Human Resources for the corporate group and other family-owned businesses and investments
- Assisting with the group’s relationship with external stakeholders such as lenders and auditors
- Managing the financial reporting for the group, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and all reporting required by the group’s lenders
- Managing financial policies and practices with an eye to continuous improvement
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the group
- Managing foreign currency and hedging activities when appropriate
- Analyzing and reporting variances and trends in financial results - Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firms for specialist advice
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and KPIs for each business unit and other family-owned businesses and investments
- Advising the CEO on both short-term and long-term business and financial planning
- Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems and internal controls
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff

**Requirements / Qualifications**
- CPA in good standing
- 5+ years’ experience of progressive finance managerial experience with a proven record of success
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Exceptional at time management and the ability to solve problems
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
- Ability to communicate professionally both in writing and orally
- Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software

Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
