**About The Role**

As Codezilla’s Digital Marketer, your #1 job is to collaborate with our Lead Marketer and our 4 camp teams to source, compile, create and publish marketing content that helps to build our brand’s online presence.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1) Video/Content Creation (50% of job)**
- Develop creative content ideas to promote our camps and events.
- Create high-quality videos to showcase our camp activities, instructors, and success stories.
- Edit videos (using software of your choice) to ensure professional quality
- Write compelling copy for video descriptions, captions, and promotional materials, optimizing views and engagement

**2) Social Media Management (30% of job)**
- Manage all social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with camp instructors and staff to gather content and testimonials for social media and video creation.
- Create and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, videos and updates).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms.

**3. Digital Marketing help (20% of job)**
- Help run and monitor Google PPC ads or Facebook ads
- Periodic Wordpress site updates
- Monthly Google Analytics analysis, to identify what’s working (not) and suggest improvements

**Qualifications**:

- Current university student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design tools
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
- Prior experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily tasks;
- You bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm to each day
- Responsible and reliable in collecting film and images and transforming it into fantastic video/graphic content
- You must enjoy working around children and youth in a summer camp environment

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Upon hire, a Criminal Background Check (with Vulnerable Sector Screening) is required (over 18 years of age) or Statutory Declaration (under 18 years of age).
- Eligible to work under the Canadian Summer Jobs grant, so must be eligible to work in Canada and under 30 years of age

**Compensation & Job Details**
- 30 hours per week, hours will vary between 9am-4:00pm (full time seasonal role)
- 40% onsite, across all GTA camp locations + 60% remote
