Warehouse Office Clerk

**General Summary**:
The Warehouse Office Administrator at the a automotive production plant plays a pivotal role in the Communications and Shipping Department, providing essential support to floor operations within the warehouse facility. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient administrative processes and effective communication to facilitate the smooth functioning of warehouse operations.
**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**:
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations.
Assist in data entry, filing, and organizing paperwork to ensure accessibility and compliance with company policies.
Communication Coordination:
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information as needed.
Facilitate communication between warehouse staff, management, and other departments to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and training sessions as required, including scheduling and logistics management.
Shipping Department Support:
Assist in coordinating shipping and receiving activities, including preparing shipping documents, tracking shipments, and liaising with carriers.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Inventory Management:
Assist in inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses to management, contributing to effective inventory management practices.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for warehouse staff and visitors.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards related to warehouse operations and documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or related field preferred.
Prior experience in administrative support roles, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping tasks.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of shipping and inventory management processes is an asset.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
