**Sailun Tire Americas - IT Operations Specialist**

**Position Reporting To** - Manager, Infrastructure

**Summary/Objective**

Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure, the IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for migrating on-prem user collaboration environment to the Microsoft cloud, help develop and implement ongoing planning in support of cyber security efforts. Support users in end computing technology to ensure smooth day to day operations.

**Essential Functions**
- Drive and lead the company’s migration to cloud services for all user collaboration services
- Build and maintain vendor relationships
- Support operations of IT Networks and Servers
- Supporting End user collaboration
- Setting up new users and management of security
- Corporate Firewall administration
- Providing recommendations when it comes to improving the organization’s IT systems
- Monitoring system resources and performance
- Involvement in monitoring and remediation of IT security alerts/events
- Providing after hours support for critical issues, outages, and scheduled maintenance
- Answering technical queries and assisting users
- Work on projects as assigned
- Any other duties as required

**Travel**
- GTA 10%

**Skills and Qualifications**
Customer Service oriented. Must be available to work evenings/weekends when required. Must be able to work effectively in a team-based collaborative environment. Demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities with a positive self-starter attitude. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work independently with mínimal direction.

**Required Education and Experience**

3+ years of experience in an IT role, preferable in a medium to large sized organization with multiple locations

Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Information Technology

Palo Alto experience (Nice to have)

Office 365 Implementation and migration experience - (mandatory)

MS 365 and/or Azure Certified (Nice to have)

ITIL certification (Nice to have)

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Palo Alto: 3 years (required)
- office 365, cloud, migration: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- MS 365 /AZURE (required)

Work Location: In person
