**Job Scope**:
Reporting to the Sr Director of B2B Sales Gay Lea Foods, the Customer Service representative is responsible for overseeing and providing excellent customer service to Key Customers at our Alberta Cheese Dairy manufacturing facility located in Calgary.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Communication between internal ACC departments and customer service to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Write all orders on production sheet, communicate shorts and back orders to customers
- Manage the ongoing customer service requirements for ACC customer base including internal and external orders,
- Take all pre-orders and enter in system for the correct date
- Co-ordinate any credits with finance for returned product
- Co-ordinate with customer to process returns, including BOL, lot code, and any pictures of compromised product
- Communicate to customer any outstanding balances and aid in AR collection working with finance on aged balances
- Speak to customers if there is an issue with order - missing a product due to entry error, picking error, or production shortage
- Speak to distribution to see if we can make arraignments for another delivery
- Ensuring and exhibiting a professional attitude and demeanor to all who contact the company and to receive all incoming consumer complaints for all products produced by Gay Lea Foods
- Process credits and ensure the CSR team is processing same with accuracy.
- Make necessary arrangements to pick up complaint products for analysis.
- Manage ACC’s administrative duties as it relates to sales and customer activation
- Be available for “after hours” customer service calls, Saturday and Sunday orders to be processed

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education and 2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Previous experience in a Food Processing industry would be an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and excel in a team environment.
- Self starter and team player with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc)
- Excellent Telephone/Communications/people skills both written and verbal
- Prior experience with an ERP system would be an asset
- Proven ability to exercise diplomacy in stressful situations.
