**SUMMARY**: Working as part of the Toronto Employment and Social Services (TESS) Programs team, this project assists youth and adults with multiple barriers in a pre-employment setting to develop their employability skills and improve access to community resources. As a Facilitator/Coach, you will support the TESS Programs team with outreach/marketing, recruiting and screening of Ontario Works (OW) applicants for our programs. You will also facilitate workshops and activities, provide one on one support and advocacy for clients, and conduct action planning activities through individual coaching and detailed case management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Recruit OW clients to participate in TESS programs including conducting information sessions, advertising campaigns and extensive outreach
- Assist to develop, plan and adjust curriculum for the project as needed
- Conduct follow up activities, statistical reporting for the project activity goals, and create a plan to meet objectives
- Maintaining relationships with community stakeholder and partners and scheduling guest speakers and activities as required
- Other project activities as assigned
- Must be able to travel between both site locations (Don Mills and Rexdale), as well as to various OW office locations within Toronto, as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience working with Ontario Works recipients and clients with multiple barriers
- Must have direct experience facilitating workshops/life skills
- Experience interacting with youth between the age groups of 18-29 years old
- Strong case management experience
- Ability to organize, co-ordinate, and lead group workshops and activities
- Excellent problem solving and de-escalation skills
- Experience in employment/career coaching an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with project team, community partners, and youth
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with community partners and stakeholders
- Strong marketing, communication and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of equity and diversity issues and their implications in the workplace
- Knowledge of community resources in the GTA and surrounding regions
- Strong computer skills in Internet, MS Outlook and MS Office
- Post-secondary degree or diploma (preference in social services or relevant work experience)
- Life Skills, Personality Dimensions, Level B Certification in Myers-Bridges would be an asset
