We are currently seeking a Treasury & Debt Management Specialist, located in any of the following areas: Sault Ste. Marie, Dryden, Hamilton, Sudbury, Timmins, North Bay, Peterborough, Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa.

**Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following**:

- Manage daily cash flow operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reconciliation, to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and program/project needs;
- Develop collaboratively to prepare a weekly cash forecast and other cash and borrowing projection models;
- Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts, all month-ed processes, and all related journal entries;
- Execute funds transfers, wire transactions, and upload EFT and positive pay files;
- Develop strategies for debt management, including monitoring debt levels, evaluating finance opportunities, and managing debt repayment schedules;
- Monitor debt covenants, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations associated with various agreements (BMO facility, CMHC, etc.), ensuring adherence to contractual terms;
- Collaborate cross-functionally in OAHS to support budgeting, cash forecasting, and funding management initiatives;
- Act as a treasury liaison with OAHS business units in setting up new banking accounts and services and handling all bank inquiries and related matters;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the treasury function to streamline operations and strengthen internal controls;
- Participate as part of the Finance Team to implement continuous improvements;
- Supports the Finance Teams’ growth towards leading-practice, continuous, real-time reporting process;
- Activities are aligned with and support the Boards’ Strategic Goal of “Excellence”;
- Work in compliance with company policies, procedures, and government laws and regulations;
- Provide guidance and expertise in the development and amendment of Finance SOPs and related organizational SOPs;
- Collaborates effectively with CEO, Directors, and OAHS employees throughout the organization;
- Prepare general forms, letters, reports, presentations, and memos, as required;
- Supports the evaluation and assessment of business opportunities by performing due diligence relevant to new spending and capital acquisitions;
- Assist external auditors as required;
- Keep up to date with accounting changes and industry developments;
- Attend internal meetings and staff meetings;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Appreciation for Indigenous cultures and a values system that believes in assisting people;
- Post secondary education majoring in accounting or other related discipline, or relevant work experience;
- Minimum 3 years experience in treasury management, debt management, or financial analysis, preferably with property management, construction/or real estate development;
- Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and analysis using Excel;
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent IT experience and knowledge, including ERP, analytical software, excel, and Micros
