**Job Details**

**Position Title**:Part-Time Professor

**Status**:Part-time teaching contract (1-6 hours/week) (Winter semester)

**Faculty**:Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness (FHSW)

**Department**: Nursing Program

**Campus/Location**: North campus; online and In-person course delivery.

**Salary**: Academic starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience

**What you will do**:
The incumbent will be responsible for teaching courses within the Continuous Professional Learning's Critical Care, High-Acuity, and Emergency Nursing programs.

The incumbent will teach, develop course materials and assessments related to learning outcomes, create an effective and innovative learning environment for students and will contribute actively to overall program and curriculum development.

**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**:

- A registered nurse (RN) or advanced practice nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree.

**Experience/Skills**:

- Substantial clinical experience in acute care settings, with a focus on emergency and/or critical care.
- Experience in triaging and managing a variety of medical emergencies.
- Specialized certifications such as Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) for emergency nurses or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) for ICU nurses is an asset.
- Ability to work well with technology using a digital approach to teaching and learning.
- Industry acumen and experience is required, along with demonstrated ability to teach
- Specialized skills or academic training in nursing will be required:
