**Why this role is important**:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role is responsible for generating first-time appointments (FTAs) with Igloo prospects. FTAs potentially convert into pipeline which then converts into bookings. You will generate FTAs by generating outbound leads via prospecting to set of targeted priority accounts. The Business Development Representative's primary purpose is to be an FTA generation super star

As a Business Development Representative, you will represent Igloo Software professionally and consultatively and will directly impact the company's success. You will target senior decision makers at forward-thinking mid-market to enterprise businesses to help understand the value a digital workplace would bring to their employees and company culture.

**The impact you'll have**:

- Generate new business opportunities through daily focused outbound prospecting efforts
- Nurture and educate prospects on the Igloo product and value proposition until prospect is ready to engage
- Effectively manage your time to achieve daily/weekly KPIs
- Leverage the tools and technologies (including but not limited to: Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and SalesLoft) to help you succeed
- Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
- Achieve monthly/quarterly quota of First Time Appointments (FTA's) booked
- Work as a team - we win as a team and lose as a team.
- Be ambitious and work hard to hit your numbers because you know it impacts the achievement of overall team and company goals

**The keys to success**:

- Experience in a fast-paced performance-based organization; SaaS and B2B preferred
- Strong desire to succeed with experience in inbound and outbound prospecting activities
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work in an efficient manner
- Strong interpersonal skills, innovative attitude, flexible, proactive, service-minded and a strong team player
- Excellent relationship building skills
- People who want to win and find motivation in temporary setbacks
- People who don't settle and find ways to overachieve and keep improving
- 1-3 years of relevant business development experience a plus
