Track assets as well as coordinate internal controls and compliance monitoring activities;
- Ensure effective governance to ensure compliance with asset management processes and procedures by
- internal team and service partners;
- Obtain information and clarifications regarding licenses, product changes, costs and
- billing and communicating and facilitating such changes;
- Ensure the updating of inventories and computer tools and the follow-up of orders for internal invoicing purposes
- and external;
- Ensure the general follow-up of the rights and proofs of the software licenses, according to the software orders.
- Perform the activities necessary for the cleaning, continuous updating and decommissioning of data
- inventory;
- Provide support and expertise while working closely with internal and external team members on
- associated project work;
- Develop analytics and dashboards to automate asset tracking and reporting activities.

- Oversee the management of licensing reporting and security standards.
- Work with Global IT Service Managers to ensure vendor records are maintained
- up-to-date and that software licensing information is well managed.
- Communicate and propose solutions to ensure software compliance and asset optimization in
- all institutions worldwide.

Employment-related skills:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or equivalent experience;
- 5 years of experience in end user software asset management, or IT/Cloud infrastructure or experience equivalent;
- Good working knowledge and understanding of software licensing with major vendors; Microsoft,
- Oracle, IBM, VMware etc..
- Experience working with users from a customer service perspective;
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- Results-oriented approach and strong planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to do several things at the same time and to work in a very dynamic environment;
- Experience in configuring the SAM tool,
- Certification in asset management, an asset;
- Experience managing the products of these software publishers: Red Hat, Cisco and IBM (an asset).
- Excellent reporting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software as well as telecommunications and networks;
- understanding of ITIL processes.
- Solid knowledge of IT asset management principles, methods and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of procurement utilities, policies and processes.
- Good knowledge of terminology related to computer hardware and software and peripherals.
- Ability to establish and maintain good relations with internal and external customers as well as with suppliers.
- Experience in delivering services based on established service level agreements.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of BMC ITSM (An asset)
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
