Ohana Care is looking for a **Business Development** and client-focused **Care Manager**. Often when our clients call, they face a difficult decision regarding their own care or the care of a much-loved family member. Therefore, the **Care Manager** must be professional and sensitive in all client communications as we guide them toward the best care plan.

We offer a range of home care services provided in the home, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and the surrounding areas, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

**Job Duties**
- Drive business development initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of our company by expanding our client base, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing our brand presence in the community
- Providing clients with all the necessary information required to make an informed decision about their care needs.
- Proactively selling the services of Ohana Care - it is essential that the individual in this position gains an in-depth knowledge of Ohana Care's various services and feels confident in selling the most appropriate option to our clients.
- Creating and maintaining excellent records of all potential sales leads and service inquiries using our Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).
- Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Communicating internally to ensure that all new clients are correctly registered and matched with the appropriate caregivers.
- Following up with all new clients at regular intervals to ensure they are satisfied with the level of service. It is essential to remain organized to ensure that follow-up calls occur and any concerns are rectified immediately.
- Sharing ideas for business growth with the Ohana Care leadership team and colleagues. Teamwork is essential to the success of Ohana Care.
- The ability to write, create and edit marketing materials such as blog posts and website copy would be considered an asset

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Excellent computer skills required (experience with AlayaCare and HubSpot CRM or similar programs would be considered an asset)
- Sales-oriented with a hunger to achieve sales targets
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Care Manager: 1 year (preferred)
