**Summary**

The Accreditation Coordinator works with the Accreditation team and under the direction of the Manager, Accreditation Unit to ensure effective and successful planning, administration and organization of tasks and projects within the Accreditation portfolio. The primary tasks will be related to accreditation operations, which will involve supporting the Accreditation Unit Assistant Managers. A significant portion of this position will include acting as the main point of contact and internal "help desk" for the Accreditation Management System (CanAMS), a collaborative membership platform used by CanRAC Colleges (the Royal College, College des Médecins de Quebec, and CFPC,) which has approximately 5,500 member users and supports postgraduate accreditation activities. There will also be a focus on document creation and maintenance, tracking and information, survey administration and light data analysis. The Accreditation Coordinator will have advanced administrative skills, advanced communication skills, strong project coordination skills, a strong attention to detail, and comfort working with databases to support both the operational and policy administration sides of accreditation activities.

**Main Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to**:
**Administration and Operations for Accreditation Reviews**
- Provide support to the Accreditation Unit Assistant Managers for all aspects of regular and off-cycle accreditation review administrative tasks.
- Create, coordinate, and maintain adequate documentation, files, monitoring mechanisms and data for all administrative processes.
- Create surveys, conduct polling, and consolidate survey results.
- Conduct quality checks for accreditation reports.
- Schedule meetings
- Create personalized schedules/schedule support for surveyors
- File maintenance and organization
- Support programs in transfer of information upon new release of standards.

**Database (Accreditation Management System - CanAMS) Operations and Administration-**
- Act as the primary point of contact for general CanAMS inquiries, and act as triage for all CanAMS inquiries, as appropriate.
- Act as the general CanAMS "HelpDesk" for the CFPC by providing general support to all family medicine users and track CanAMS user tickets.
- Provide general support to family medicine users.

**General Administrative Support**
- Provide support to the Manager and Director of the Accreditation Unit and for standards improvement, communications planning, and policy document updates.
- Create and administer surveys, light data collation and synthesis of data.
- Input all standards content into summary and tracking documents.
- Create presentations, charts and infographics based on data pulled from reports (to be used in presentations and on the website)
- Oversee website content updates and maintenance for accreditation pages and on CanRAC website.
- Coordinate and schedule teleconferences.

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate Degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Advanced Communication skills
- Advanced Analytical skills
- Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas and opinions clearly and effectively in English.
- Advanced Organizational, Time Management, Attention to detail and Accuracy skills

**Working Conditions**
- Some travel (< 10% of the time), including both in and out-of-town.
