**Urbantech**is the GTA’s premier boutique Civil Engineering consulting firm. We have earned a reputation of excellence as a leader in the land development industry through decades of experience in project management, construction administration, drafting, and water resources / municipal engineering. We provide the highest quality of engineering services, viewing project milestones from our client’s perspective to ensure timeliness and profitability.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing efforts and enhance our brand presence. You will play a vital role in developing marketing materials, managing social media, and enhancing our brand awareness.

**Marketing Strategy**:

- Assist in development and execution of marketing campaigns including brand awareness, and company engagement.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging.
- Coordinate production of company signage on work sites for brand awareness.
- Maintain an inventory of company-branded swag and coordinate orders for availability for staff, events, and marketing initiatives.

**Social media management**:

- Develop and manage content for various platforms including our website and social media.
- Update regularly and track performance metrics to improve online presence.
- Conduct market research to identity trends and opportunities withing the civil engineering sector.
- Visit worksites to capture photos of project progress for marketing content, as well as in-office events, team activities and workplace culture.

**Other tasks**:

- Assist with coordinating and supporting company events
- Work closely with department managers to monitor and track the progress of on-going projects and use key milestones to create engaging content for marketing materials and social media.
- Coordinate with HR and admin staff to assist with monthly company newsletters by gathering relevant content and updates.
- Other tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, social media management or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Extroverted individual who is willing to approach staff and department managers to get information.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn) and marketing software (e.g. Hootsuite).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of innovation, capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and bringing creative solutions to the company.
- Must be able to travel to sites across the GTHA as needed. A reliable vehicle and G license is needed.
