**The Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Engagement and Team Leadership_
- Oversee the daily workflow of the team
- Coordinate engagement and team building opportunities
- Oversee implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives
- Lead resolution process for formal complaints through conciliation or conducting investigations, as appropriate
- Oversee and successfully execute compensation strategy through market analysis, job evaluation, and the annual review process
- Talent Management_
- Responsible for overseeing the hiring process for Store Operations and Administrative Corporate roles
- Oversee hiring roadmap and execute creative talent strategies to attract and retain
- Formalize hiring process across Canada, North America and beyond, working with leaders through their talent needs
- Learning and Development_
- Support leaders through evaluations and development plans
- Facilitate and develop Activate University programs
- Create and implement a leadership development program

**The Qualifications**:

- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field, CPHR designation would be considered an asset
- 10 years experience in Human Resources, with 4+ years at a leadership level
- Proven knowledge of Canadian employment and human rights legislation is required; knowledge of international legislation would be considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong devotion to ethics
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated strengths in managing competing priorities
