**Who Are You?**

You are eager to further develop your accounting career with a specialization in systems, processes, and controls. You want to be a leader and manage a team of finance professionals. Improving and supporting the ERP system for two major construction companies in the Taggart Group of Companies is something that excites you. You welcome the opportunity to support the Director and the Finance Team with cross-functional collaboration, generating reports, looking at data all with the aim to improve and maintain our ERP system.

**How you will create an impact**
- Support users across operations and finance with their system-related needs, including troubleshooting, training, documentation, and ad hoc requests.
- Work closely with the System Administrator to ensure the ERP system is functional at all times, including integrations with other systems.
- Serve as the key contact for account management with our ERP vendor, including license renewals.
- Manage software launches and updates; evaluating, testing, and debugging to reduce or eliminate business interruption.
- Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by leading projects under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Committee.
- Work closely with stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives to identify opportunities and solutions that improve systems, processes and controls or alleviate pain points in those areas.
- Assist the Director with creating and implementing a framework for system and process improvements.
- You will work towards our company goals by modernizing the internal controls across financial and operational processes.
- Improve the quality of Master Data that drives the ERP and financials, including the related processes, forms, and controls.
- Manage a growing team with evolving responsibilities and shifting priorities.

**What you should have**
- 10 years’ experience in accounting and finance with 3 years directly supporting the finance systems
- Prior experience in a controllership role is considered a significant asset
- Effective communication both written and verbal English
- Prior experience in construction is considered a significant asset
- Strong aptitude demonstrated in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Experience using Cognos (IBM Cognos Connection), eCMS by Computer Guidance Corporation, or SQL knowledge would be considered an asset
