**RÉSUMÉ**

Relevant du directeur de la logistique, le superviseur de l'expédition/réception est le principal acteur chargé de planifier et de coordonner les opérations de prélèvement et de veiller à ce que l'exécution soit harmonieuse et efficace sur la ligne. Reconnu comme un véritable leader dans le domaine, il comprend l'importance de soutenir continuellement son équipe et de la motiver à atteindre les objectifs quotidiens. Ainsi, il intervient fréquemment sur la ligne, et il s'attache à clarifier ses attentes et à coacher le personnel afin d'améliorer la méthodologie de préparation des commandes. Enfin, le superviseur doit être capable d'assurer la liaison avec les autres magasiniers ainsi qu'avec les superviseurs de production, l'équipe du service clientèle et les directeurs des autres départements.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Superviser et maximiser l'utilisation des différentes ressources pour assurer le bon déroulement des opérations de pick-pack-ship.
- Prendre l'initiative de dépanner et de trouver des solutions pour améliorer la satisfaction du client et l'efficacité.
- Assurer l'exécution de la préparation des commandes (bon produit au bon client, au bon moment, à un prix inférieur).
- Planifier les besoins en main d'œuvre pour toutes les équipes, en collaboration avec les autres superviseurs en fonction du volume d'activité attendu.
- Participer au recrutement des membres de l'équipe.
- Communiquer et faire appliquer les politiques, procédures et règlements.
- Conseiller et encadrer les employés sur les questions de performance.
- Initier des projets d'amélioration pour accroître la performance du département.

**COMPÉTENCES & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Expérience de la supervision dans un environnement d'entrepôt/expédition.
- Bilingue, français et anglais, écrit et parlé.
- Solides compétences en leadership et en gestion des personnes.
- Excellent sens de l'organisation et de la gestion des priorités.
- Rigueur et souci du détail. - Aptitude à résoudre les problèmes.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement froid (4°C).

**SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the shipping/receiving supervisor is the main player to plan and coordinate the picking operations and to ensure that the execution is smooth an efficient on the line.

Recognized as a true leader in the field he understands the importance of continuously supporting his team and get them motivated to achieve daily objectives. Thus, he frequently intervenes on the line, and he is focusing on clarifying his expectations and on coaching the staff in order to improve the picking methodology.

Finally, the supervisor must be able to liaise with other warehouse workers as well as with production supervisors, the customer service team and directors of other departments.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise and maximize the use of different resources to ensure the smooth running of Pick-pack-ship operations.
- Take the lead to troubleshoot and find solutions to improve
- Customer Satisfaction and efficiency
- Ensure the execution of order preparation (good product to the right customer, at the right time, at a lower price).
- Plan manpower requirements for all shifts, in collaboration with other supervisors according to the volume of business expected.
- Participate in the recruitment of team members.
- Communicate and enforce policies procedures and regulations.
- Advise and coach employees on performance issues.
- Initiate some improvement project to enhance the performance of the department

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience in supervision in a warehouse/shipping environment.
- Bilingual
