**Job Summary**

Cardinal Health, a leading healthcare supply chain company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Team Lead to join our Dorval distribution center. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of operations on the floor, executing daily tasks, and acting as a role model to others in terms of productivity and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Execute daily operations, including pick, pack, ship, receive, and other tasks, to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Ensure the daily coordination and efficient flow of operations on the floor, moving resources as required.
  • Assist the Supervisor in ensuring that the team is working in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Train new and existing employees on all work practices and procedures.
  • Assign and direct the work on the floor, responding to complaints and resolving problems.
  • Coach employees on how to improve quality and productivity metrics.
  • Work closely with interdepartmental management staff.
  • Maintain an open communication with employees, relaying key messages and participating in team meetings.
  • Assist in tracking each employee's performance to ensure that all employees are working according to production, quality, and attendance standards.
  • Ensure that employees comply with health and safety rules at all times.

**Requirements**

  • Post-secondary education completed (DEC).
  • Fluency in English and French (written and oral).
  • 3 years of experience in the operations or distribution field.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with computers (JDE, AIMS).
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies / Continuous Improvement (preferred).
