Qualifications:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Red Seal Certificate or international certification equivalency required.
- Toronto Public Health approved Food Handler Certificate required.
- Minimum of 5 years of diversified culinary experience in a fine dining/hotel/private club/hospital and/or banquet facilities.
- Excellent culinary tastes and artistic flair for creating unique meals and presentation.
- Ensures that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all areas at all times.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Able to stand and work for long periods of time and perform the full range of duties as required, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively with staff and customers.
- Satisfactory attendance record.
