**The opportunity**:
The Max Rady College of Medicine’s Undergraduate Medical Education Admissions program is seeking a professional assessment leader to provide in-depth analysis and analytics of applicant data and information and to further enhance the overall effectiveness of the medical education admissions program.

Working with a dedicated team of professionals, educators and administrators the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the program and data analytic and assessment processes related to the Admissions programs, policies and data results for the undergraduate Doctor in Medicine (MD) program.

Assessment and data preparation of statistics and reporting resulting from Admissions annual recruitment events and pathway program activities. Including the composite score calculations of the three coefficients (Rurality, Academic Attributes, and Socioeconomic and Sociocultural), and the ranking of applicants to the MD program.

Quality assurance and assessment of program activities including participation in the Undergraduate Medical Education’s accreditation processes and making recommendations for improvements to the existing admissions process and to the future program endeavour and initiatives.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:
The assessment lead will possess a master’s or higher-level degree in data analytics and assessment-related discipline with a minimum of five years of experience in roles associated with university student recruitment and admissions programs and/or experience working in a university environment. Furthered with advanced skills in academic research and evaluation, use of applied mixed methods, qualitative and quantitative methods.

Additional skill attributes include strong mathematical skills, and technical proficiency in database design, data modelling, mining, and segmentation and adept at designing and conducting population evaluation and research projects using quantitative analysis software e.g., SAS, SPSS, STATA. Further, the assessment lead will be proficient at communicating with all levels of faculty, staff, students, and partner organizations and be advanced in communication and reporting skills, including the ability to clearly explain/present complex information.
