As our Brand Activation Manager, you excel at building our portfolio of brands to life through each interaction. You have deep experience in working with consumer-led brands and connecting brands with customers and retailers. You can drive results by overseeing the execution of compelling and impactful initiatives and campaigns that amplify our brands and our story. You excel at managing multiple projects across a variety of marketing disciplines and understand how to accelerate with intention.

You work closely with our partners and our extended teams across brand campaigns, retail marketing, communications, packaging, events, merchandise, digital, and social to see campaigns and initiatives through from beginning to end. You are known for your ability anticipate opportunities and challenges and connect teams in a way that is both inspirational and efficient.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

**Brand Activation & Execution**
- Drive execution of integrated brand campaigns across our portfolio of brands in collaboration with our internal digital, social, communications and retail trade marketing teams, as well as our external partners
- Manage brand initiatives from packaging, events and activations, and consumer-focused programing that align with the overall marketing and business objectives
- Support with the creation and production of brand goods
- Oversee photography and videography projects
- Ensure all brand initiatives adhere to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and ethical standards
- Utilize market research and consumer insights to inform campaign execution and ensure our approach resonates with the target audience and drives engagement
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative marketing techniques to continually enhance marketing efforts
- Support with post-campaign analysis to evaluate the success of brand activation initiatives and identify areas for improvement in future campaigns
- Partner with the retail trade marketing and design teams to deliver on-brand tools to help drive sales such as visual merchandising kits, goods, apparel, etc.

**Project Management**
- Manage project timelines and facilitate collaborative teamwork on integrated campaigns and projects
- Anticipate potential challenges and risks related to brand activation campaigns and develop contingency plans to mitigate negative impact
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of brand initiatives and progress
- Manage budgets for brand activation initiatives, optimizing resource allocation and tracking expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Set and track against brand health and campaign key performance indicators (KPIs)

**OTHER DUTIES**

At Pure Sunfarms, we are all growers at heart. Our plants and processes require in-person care and attention to ensure we’re bringing the best our plants and people have to offer to our consumers. This means other duties may arise since we work together to ensure we support all business activities - seed to sale.

This role is hybrid, which requires you to work on-site a minimum of three (3) days per week in a role that provides core support functions to the business.

**YOUR BRAND, YOUR STORY**

We already know you are an expert in marketing and brand activation, but we want to know more about your strengths. You’re good at the following:

- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in brand management and marketing
- Strategic, creative and practical with an entrepreneurial spirit that is focused on protecting the brand and the company while driving results
- Strong communicator and proven ability to effectively collaborate with various partners and stakeholders
- Ability to effectively manage time and establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities in a fast-paced work environment; can adhere to tight deadlines and also be nimble in implementing last-minute changes as needed
- Relevant hands-on experience in using marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure campaign performance
- An energetic, enthusiastic, motivated, and open-minded attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels
