**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- _Core Regulatory Functions Coordination_: Coordinate and support key regulatory functions, including continuing competency programs, registration, licensing, and professional conduct processes, aligning with the public interest.
- _Provincial Program Development:_ Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs for occupational therapists, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and provincial standards.
- _Professional Practice Consultation: _Offer regulatory guidance on occupational therapy practice, including contributing to the development of practice guidelines and addressing professional practice issues.
- _Key Partner Engagement and Meeting Facilitation_: Build and maintain relationships with occupational therapists, healthcare facilities, and academic institutions across the province. Proficiently facilitate workshops, meetings, and seminars to promote and support program initiatives.
- _Program Evaluation and Reporting: _ Design evaluation strategies for programs, compiling detailed reports on outcomes for senior leadership.
- _Compliance and Monitoring_: Ensure program and regulatory activities comply with provincial healthcare regulations and professional best practices.
- _Presentation Skills_: Utilize exceptional presentation skills to effectively communicate program goals, updates, and outcomes to a variety of key partners.

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility for licensure in Nova Scotia.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in program coordination, ideally within healthcare, regulatory, or non-profit sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate programs and projects.
- Strong organizational, communication (including presentation), and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program management software.
- Experience in facilitating meetings and workshops.
- Current eligibility to work in Canada.
- May be required to work evenings or weekends.
- Must have access to a vehicle. (Mileage reimbursed)

**Reporting Relationship**:

- Directly reports to the Registrar/Executive Director, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance mandates.

**Work Model**:

- 0.5 FTE, equivalent to 37.5 hours biweekly.
- Hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home and in-office assignments based on organizational needs and tasks.
