The Territory Development Manager is responsible for achieving sales volume and profit targets of all Food Service Distributors within the province of Québec that Unilever Food Solutions. This is accomplished by penetrating assigned customers at multiple levels, developing a deep understanding of their needs and selling solutions. The Distributor Development Manager must be customer driven and possess a Foodservice Trade Channel expertise. You are responsible for the development of strategy and go to market plans for their respective customers and for the coordinated execution of team-selling solutions.
- Responsible for having a complete knowledge of the customer’s strategy and corporate direction. Leverage this information to develop detailed customer profiles and plans.
- Responsible for maintaining current business and developing new sales in our current portfolio.
- Responsible for maintaining and/or driving profit margins to targeted profitability levels.
- Develop and communicate action plans for the execution of Regional programs.
- Work closely with Finance, Channel Marketing, Culinary & Customer Service to create and implement NEW business solutions for their accounts. The DDM is expected to assemble the virtual team necessary for developing the customer solution and take a leadership role throughout the team-selling process.
- Understand Foodservice Channels and Segments. Working with Marketers, recommend strategies and develop go to market approaches by Channel and Segment.

**What You Need to Succeed**
- Degree with 2+ years of relevant food service sales experience
- Customer driven and build relationships at all levels within the Distributors/Broadliners, including senior management.
- ]Understanding of the Canadian Food Service Customer Development Strategy and be able to use the tools available to develop, present and execute detailed customer plans that ensure sales volume and profit growth with their assigned customers, meeting targets and goals by product category and by customer. This includes direction and coordination of multiple resource groups within Unilever.
- Must have a deep understanding of goals and objectives at the customer in Procurement, Marketing, Operations and Sales.

La position du “Gérant du Développement des Distributeurs du Québec” est responsable de rencontrer les objectifs du volume d’affaires et de profitabilité de tous les Distributeurs du Service Alimentaire de la province de Québec de Unilever Food Solutions. Ceci devra être accompli en développant des relations d’affaires à différent niveau hiéarchique des clients tout en ayant une compréhension exhaustive de leurs besoins pour croître leur chiffre d’affaires avec UFS. Le Gérant du Développement des Distributeurs doit être axé sur la clientèle et posséder une bonne compréhension des différents segments de l’industrie des Services Alimentaires. Il est responsable du développement stratégique du plan d’affaires de la compagnie en assurant l’exécution et la coordination des plans mis en place pour maximiser les solutions de ventes de UFS.

RESPONSABILITÉS
- Le “DDM” doit avoir une solide compréhension du marché des Services Alimentaires Canadiens et, plus spécifiquement, du marché de la province de Québec pour développer, présenter et exécuter les différents plans d’affaires de UFS à travers les nombreux distributeurs des services alimentaires du Québec pour croitre les ventes et les profits des produits UFS. Le tout en travaillant en collaboration avec les ressources et différents départements de l’entreprise.
- Responsable d’avoir une bonne compréhension des différentes stratégies et directions corporatives des Distributeurs du Québec.
- Doit avoir une compréhension profonde des buts et objectifs des clients distributeurs au niveau de leur achat, du marketing, des opérations et des ventes de ceux-ci.
- Le “DDM” doit travailler en fonction de sa clientèle en tout temps et développer des relations d’affaires solides à tous les niveaux de gestion de ses distributeurs.
- Responsable de maintenir et de croitre le chiffre d’affaires visé par la compagnie à travers les différents segments de catégorie du portfolio de UFS.
- Responsable de maintenir et d’augmenter les objectifs de profitabilité de la compagnie.
- Développer et communiquer des plans d’actions pour l’exécution des programmes régionaux.
- Doit travailler en étroite collaboration avec le département des Finances, du Marketing, du Service à la clientèle et des Chefs de UFS pour créer et implanter de nouvelles solutions d’affaires bénéfiques à l’entreprise.
- Le “DDM” doit rassembler les ressources nécessaires pour developer des solutions-clients en prenant un rôle de leader pour maximiser les relations d’affaires à long terme.
