What you will be doing:_**
- _ Develop, and facilitate a series of interactive cross-cultural learning activities for newcomers in various CCS programs_
- _ Develop and execute outreach plans to promote the program and recruit participants_
- _ Connect and build relations with local community networks and initiatives to support newcomers’ engagement_
- _ Support, enhance and facilitate newcomers’ civic engagement initiatives in their local communities_
- _ Work collaboratively with CCS team to coordinate the delivery of activities_
- _ Research and create comprehensive cross-cultural engagement resources and activities_
- _ Provide recommendations for improvement, development and/or expansion of the program to ensure proactive response to clients’ changing needs_
- _ Ensure all client and program files are complete and updated_
- _ Prepare and submit accurate and timely statistical, narrative, and program progress reports_

What are we looking for?_**
- _ A community college diploma in Social Sciences, Humanities, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field._
- _ A minimum of two years’ experience developing group activities including ice-breakers, group facilitation and coaching newcomers in cross-cultural activities_
- _ Experience working with clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds_
- _ Excellent oral and written English, fluency in Arabic, Punjabi, Hindi, Farsi, Dari and/or Pashto is required._

**_ Compensation: _**_$26.52 to $29.52 per hour_**_ _**_based on experience_
