We are looking for a Technical Support Team Leader, Quality Assembly, who will report to the Quality Department Manager. In this role, you will have a major impact in ensuring the quality of our products assembled in Valcourt.

**YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Create and/or monitor performance indicators for the technical support team.

Be responsible for initiating problem-solving with the DMAIC methodology.

Be the primary contact for quality liaison with production, product development, quality engineering and product performance.

Coordinate and lead aesthetic and technical committees.

Follow up with the various stakeholders on all quality issues.

Coordinate and prioritize corrective actions in response to non-conformities detected during production, ensure that they are contained and permanently resolved.

Participate in various round tables to identify and escalate important issues.

Lead and participate in intra and interdepartmental quality process improvement initiatives to improve the effectiveness of quality work orders.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical engineering or plastics technology engineering or other relevant field and a strong interest in quality assurance.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the manufacturing sector.

Bilingual French and English in both verbal and written communication.

Good command of Microsoft Office software.

Leadership and ability to influence.

Very good communication skills.

Strong team spirit and ability to rally support.

Rigour, discipline, ability to analyze and summarize.

Available to travel occasionally for short trips.

Occasional availability to coordinate out-of-hours emergency resolution.
