Technical Team Leader SSV

We're looking for a Technical team leader. reporting to the Project Manager, to help us lead a design team that's passionate about the world of motorsports and driven by innovation. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage innovative design projects that define the very essence of BRP's reputation

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

  • Effectively manage all the designers in your group to ensure team objectives are met.
  • Supervise the implementation of best-practice design activities, such as technical drawings, bills of materials, digital mock-ups and other documentation.
  • Support the professional development of your team members.
  • Collaborate with various sectors to ensure product development and on-time delivery of tooling and components.
  • Monitor and establish KPIs in line with department objectives.
  • Advise and contribute to your department's strategies and orientations, with a view to constant development.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • A degree (DCS) in mechanical engineering or another relevant field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
  • English is required, as the person will have to read technical and regulatory documentation not available in French, and communicate with international suppliers.
  • Good knowledge of design technologies and methodologies.
  • Good command of Catia V5 and SmarTeam.
  • Interest in and aptitude for team management.
  • Good leadership, organizational and priority management skills.
