**Corporate Bookkeeper**

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the books of our two small businesses. The activities of the bookkeeper are:
**Weekly Tasks**
- Enter daily receipts
- Management of our cash flow statements

**Bi-Weekly Tasks**
- Manage and submit the Payroll - we use a third party service

**Monthly Tasks**
- Monthly reconciliation of Bank Accounts(2) and credit cards(2)
- Monthly preparation of Income Statement, with budget comparisons
- Reconciliation of our trade accounts
- Payment of suppliers
- Post expense accounts
- Manage interactions with government agencies such as CRA, Revenue Quebec, CNEST, WSIB
- Manage our benefit program - coordinate with our supplier

**Quarterly Tasks**
- Preparation of GST, HST and QST filings

**Annual Tasks**
- Year-end reconciliation of Bank Accounts(2) and credit cards(2)
- Preparation of draft income statement and balance sheet, with budget comparisons
- Work with our corporate Accountant to complete the final Statements and Tax fillings

**Location of Business, Average Hours per week**

Our two stores are located, one in Ottawa on Bank Street and the other in Gatineau on Boul. Gréber. You will be required to visit each of these locations to conduct the above work; however, we believe many of the tasks can be done remotely should you wish us to consider a hybrid work model.

We expect that an average of 30 hours per week is required to complete the above tasks. However, the weeks where reconciliation is occurring may require additional hours.

**Wage or Salary**

It is our preference to offer a salary based remuneration based on the average of 30 hours per week irrespective of the actual hours per week worked. It is anticipated that some weeks may be substantially less than 30 hours per week while others may require more. The salary would be based on your experience, between $25 and $35 per hour as appropriate.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Two(2) or more years’ experience with Sage
- One or more years’ experience with the Payweb online service or similar.
- One or more years’ experience managing a Benefits program
- Two(2) or more years’ experience creating financial statements for the purpose of creating annual returns and tax filing
- Experience communicating with CNEST, Revenue Quebec
- You must be fluently Bilingual in French and English
- References are required

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
